About the Temple
The temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha located in Plano, Texas.
The temple began with the divine blessings of Sru Uma Agasteswara Swami, and Jagadguru H H Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swami of Kanchi Peetha on 5th June 2011.
Pandit Kameswara Sharma hails from a family of priests from Andra Pradesh in India at a very young age and became Acharya in Krishna Yajurveda Smartha and astrology.
His Holiness consecrated the Sri Lakshmi Ganesha temple in Plano.
The local Hindu devotees of Plano gathered in huge masses and generously donated and raised funds to establish the temple.
The temple further grew in devotees’ strength and led to expansion with enhanced facilities and more deities.
