About the temple

The idea of this temple began as a generous thought of uplifting Hindu life in Brisbane.

The temple is situated at 8 Scott Lane, North Maclean QLD 4280 by guru pundit Tripathi Ji and guruma Asha Tripathi Ji in 2012, It is extended vivaciously and peacefully on an 11-acre land of Logan City.

The temple authorities also built a Yoga center, initially, everything started off in a small home kind of setup.

Pundit Ji’s dream was to built a unique Hindu Temple. With the help of local devotees and active involvement of engineers, builders, and volunteers made the dreams of Pundit Ji come true.

The new temple was built on 26th January 2017 with the grand pooja ceremony.

Deity and its spiritual significance

Lord Vishnu is the main deity of the temple, also called Padmanabhan (a lotus that blossoms from his navel, holding the Brahma).

Lord Vishnu is seated on Sheshanag, which signifies vices of darkness, floating on water representing the Universe as his house.

This pose of Vishnu symbolizes staying calm and peaceful surrounded by vicious sarpa(snake), let not fear to empower you, and discard your inner peace.

Lord Ganesha, Siva, Durga, Krishna, and Hanuman Ji take their abode in the temple with Lord Vishnu.

Festival Celebrated

The Hindu festivals are an epicentre for pious and traditional gatherings, with innumerable ways of offering salutations to God.

Festivals like Maha Shivarathri, Rama Navami, Holi dhahan, Guru Purnima, Krishna Janmashtami, and many more are celebrated throughout the year.

Important Sunday Bhandara Program

Every Sunday temple allows devotees to offer prayers, parikrama, chanting, and deep meditation in the temple from 5.30 pm onwards.

  1. Silence to be maintained during pravachan
  2. No alcohol and smoking
  3. Mobile phone in silent
  4. Encouraged to wear Indian clothing
