Thiruparankundram's Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple (Kovil) is dedicated to the god Murugan (also known as Kartikeya and Subramaniya Swamy) in Thiruparankundram, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Temple is one of Murugan's six abodes and is regarded as the first and foremost temple of Lord Muruga.

This temple is associated with several myths and legends, one of which states that it is here that Lord Muruga defeated the demon Surapadman, married Deivayani, daughter of the king of heaven, Indra, and worshiped Lord Shiva.

The Yellamma Temple in Balkampet, popularly known as the Balkampet Yellamma temple, is one of Hyderabad's oldest and most revered temples. The temple attracts a large crowd on Sundays and Tuesdays and is well-known for hosting the annual Bonalu Jathara festival in Hyderabad.

This temple is dedicated to Goddess Yellamma, which translates as "mother of the universe." There is also an alternate name, Jagadamba, who is thought to be the same as Goddess Renuka.
