The Sri Tirumala Nathaswamy, also known as the Venkateshwara Temple, is located in Chalmeda village, Nijampet Mandal, Medak District, Telangana.

It is considered one of the rare temples where devotees can have darshan through the Uttara Dwaram (North Gate) throughout the year, 365 days. The temple is a significant local rural shrine and hosts various religious celebrations and seasonal festivities, including Ratha Saptami, Dussehra.

During Ratha Saptami, a three-day Jathara (religious fair) is celebrated at the temple. The festival attracts a large number of devotees, with more than three lakh visitors coming from nearby districts to seek the blessings and darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

During these celebrations, villagers beautifully decorate their bullock carts and tractors and take them around the temple in three ceremonial rounds.

On the auspicious day of Ratha Saptami, several special religious rituals and events are conducted, including Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Kalyanam, Maha Yagnam (Homam), Ratha Yatra and Vishesha Vahana Seva.
