About the Temple
The Fremont Hindu Temple has been in service since 1984, in the Bay area, CA.
A group of engineers and doctors flew from India to the Bay area, and the idea of the temple evolved in their minds.
In the initial days, prayers were offered in their home. In the year 1982, the Hindu community purchased the building of the temple.
The temple construction was completed in the year 2006, with a grand Kumbhabhishekam and Pranaprathishta held for 4 days to inaugurate the deities.
The Temple is made of 2 halves, one side is the main deity location, and another side is the social hall and library, and kitchen for annasamparna.
Deities/Significance
This divine place of worship is blessed with many shrines like Sri Saibaba (the preacher of “self-realization and condemned “love towards perishable things”)
Lord Ganesha (Ekadanta, Gajanana etc), Maa Kali (form of Druga Maa), Hanumanji, Lakshmi Narayana, Shiva Parvathi, Lord Radha Krishna, Maa Durga is seen in the temple premises.
Lord Jhulela
A folkloric hero of a sect of Daryapanthi Sindhus, mostly from South Asia, considered an incarnation of Varuna.
Jhulela or Uderola is one of the most interesting Gods of the Indian Pantheon.
Alongside one can also get blessings from Lord Raam Parivar and Lord Jaganath Parivaar.

Preeti Bhoj
Every Sunday and Saturday “lunch” and on Tuesday and Thursday “dinner” is by sponsored by devotees ($999- $1450) and the same is offered at the temple.
