About the Temple
Sri Saibaba is a religious reformer, with his grace and blessings this mandir manifested itself in the year 2002 n Minneapolis, MN.
A non-profit organization called Shirdi Saibaba Prayer Canter Inc. was formed, and an apartment was rented in Sep 2002 for offering prayers.
In July 2006, the center of the prayer moved to a building at 1835 Pol St NE, Minneapolis, earlier this place was a Hindu Mandir, prior to that it was a Church for Swedish Immigrants in Minneapolis.
A huge and pious life-size marble of Lord Sri Saibaba was installed, and an inauguration ceremony was performed on Sep 15, 2007.
Deities and their significance
The main deity of this Mandir is Lord Saibaba, he had his 1st incarnation at Shirdi as Shridi Saibaba, a righteous Indian saint who served the needy endlessly.
Shradha and Saburi (meaning Faith and Trust) are the 2 main principles Sri Saibaba preached to his devotees.
Saibaba is a self-person to belong to no religion, he believed that God is One.
