Gayatri Mandir Hawaiian Gardens, California is an organization called as “Gayatri Pariwar – Yug Nirman”. It is a nonprofit religious organization established in Cerritos, California in June 1980 by distinguished members of the Indian community to fulfill the religious needs of the followers of Guru Pandit Shree Ram Sharma Acharya. In April 1988 the organization was recognized as a tax-exempt entity by IRS.

They organized the first “Ashwa Meg Yagna” in America at Cerritos college in September 1993 for three days. More than eight thousand devotees participated from all over America and Canada. Late Vandaniya Mataji and 12 other saints came from India to perform 1008 Kundi Gayatri Maha Yagna.

Lord Hanuman, Sri Radha Krishna, and Dattatreya also worshipped in the temple.
